Feelings of grief and loss

Grief is a natural reaction to the loss of a loved one. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Also, grief has no timescale. The 5 stages of grieving include: denial, anger, depression, guilt and acceptance. However for some of us, it can be difficult to return to normal life after losing a loved one. 

Feelings of grief can also include:

  • Shock and Numbness ​

  • Overwhelming sadness and/or crying

  • Confusion

  • Pain
